FORT KLAMATH, Ore. - Klamath Outdoor Science School (KOSS) recently received a $25,000 Environmental Education Grant from the Gray Family Foundation to do a series of outdoor field studies with local elementary students. Third and fourth-grade students participating in the program will travel to local natural areas with KOSS naturalist-instructors to do hands-on science explorations and investigations.

Outdoor School Offers Summer Camps

Klamath Outdoor Science School (KOSS) is offering a full slate of outdoor camps for children and youth in July, beginning with a new Backpacking 101 camp for 10-14 year olds, July 8-10. This camp is led by KOSS board member and 4th grade teacher, Rebecca Morehouse, an experienced backpacker. She will be assisted by US Forest Service naturalist, Eva Jones.
