KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Klamath County will receive more than six hundred thousand dollars from the State of Oregon to distribute to businesses impacted by the Governor’s most recent decision to move the county from high to extreme risk, impacting in person dining and some fitness facilities.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Klamath County Commissioners previously announced help for businesses impacted by the Governor’s “freeze” Executive Order restrictions. The County has received just over one million dollars from the State to distribute. The Board of Commissioners has asked South Central Oregon Economic Development District (SCOEDD) to distribute the funds via a grant program, prioritizing “freeze” impacted businesses.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The South Central Oregon Economic Development District (SCOEDD) announced today that it has opened the application for the Klamath County COVID-19 Business Assistance Grant Program. Klamath County has received $1,098,616 in funding from the State of Oregon to support the program.

Millions in grant funding is available for small businesses facing lost revenue in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Business Oregon awarded the final round of its Emergency Business Assistance Grant funding to intermediary organizations across Oregon to in turn provide grants directly to eligible small businesses. The fund was created by Governor Kate Brown and the Oregon legislature, funded with both federal CAREs Act funds and state funds.
