Klamath Water Users Association on new guidance for the Klamath Project

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The US Bureau of Reclamation has released a detailed analysis that will change its approach to compliance with the Endangered Species Act at the Klamath Project in south-central Oregon and northern California. The new analysis and guidance, called for by a Department of the Interior Solicitor’s opinion last fall, support that irrigation water deliveries in the Project are not subject to constraints that Reclamation has applied in the past.
