The Brewhouse is founded by three Oregon Tech students - Seth Gretz, Madison McCuiston, and David Murphy.
The shop is located at the former Matteo’s in Klamath Falls near Sky Lakes Medical Center and Oregon Tech.
The location and features locally roasted coffee from Gathering Grounds Roastery.

When students return to campus this fall, they will have a third place to call home. Three Oregon Tech students plan to open Bulletproof Brewhouse on September 23, 2017 at Campus Square, 2229 N Eldorado Avenue, Klamath Falls, OR 97601. The site was formerly home to the Matteo’s Coffee & Tea House.
David Murphy, Seth Gretz and Madison McCuiston are currently pursuing degrees at Oregon Tech. Murphy and Gretz are seeking business degrees; McCuiston is a communication studies student. The inspiration came from Madison's dream of opening a coffee shop and David and Seth’s dream of opening a business. The dream started to become a reality when Seth heard that the old Matteo's Coffee shop building was open for rent. The three of them contacted the owner of the building and bounced their ideas off their Oregon Tech professors and advisors. This is when they decided to embark on their business adventure.
Initially, Bulletproof Brewhouse will open as a coffee and tea shop with plans to offer a wine and beer bar. The menu will consist of popular coffee, tea, and energy drinks along with
pastries, sandwiches, and eventually salads. They have plans to expand their menu further after they have the business open for a short time. Bulletproof’s coffee beans will be roasted locally from Gathering Grounds Roastery, a local coffee shop located in downtown Klamath Falls.
The trio hopes to bring Klamath’s campus community a third space to call home where patrons can enjoy a great cup of coffee, relaxing atmosphere, fast, free internet, tasty food, and even a glass of wine and beer.
“We hope to be an inspiration to other college students attending Oregon Tech. There are opportunities in Klamath Falls and graduates don't have to leave the area. We think it’s sad
that year after year, students graduate Oregon Tech, leave the area, and take their knowledge and potential with them. The three of us are breaking that trend and are going to try to give back to the town that gave us so much. However, none of this will be possible without the participation and love from the community. So come hang out with us and make Bulletproof Brewhouse your own!”
