EUGENE, Ore. – New Hope Christian College's Deacons led the Hustlin' Owls by one point in the first half before OIT went on a 25-0 run, which brought the Owls to their familiar leading position where they stayed - ending their second game against the Deacons at Cordeiro Court in Eugene, Oregon with a 99-49 win.

"Really nice opening road trip for us," said Head Coach Justin Parnell. "The second night of a back to back is always tough but our energy was outstanding tonight. Things get much tougher in the next few weeks and we need to start playing 40 minutes of Oregon Tech Basketball to keep winning."

Junior Seth Erickson led the Owls in points, contributing a game high 18. Junior Kellen Gerig earned 16 and Freshman Kaison Faust brought in 10. All three, along with Garret Albrecht and Mitchell Fink gained eight rebounds.
