Gayle Receives Sheriff's Mounted Posse Scholarship

The Klamath County Sheriff’s Office – Mounted Posse has worked with the family of  Sheriff Murray “Red” Britton to provide a $250.00 Memorial Scholarship to a deserving high school senior in the area. To be eligible the applicant must be high school senior and either an active volunteer or the child of an active volunteer or employee of the Sheriff’s Office.

This year’s recipient is Amaya Gayle from Henley High School and she is a volunteer with Klamath County Search and Rescue. She intends to use the scholarship to help her in her first year of community college with a future goal of earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Congratulations Amaya.
