Red Flag Warning

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of low humidity, with heat and gusty winds may cause any fires that start to spread rapidly and uncontrollably. Extreme fire behavior is possible, and fires will be difficult to extinguish.

Refrain from outdoor activities that could result in a wildfire, such as improper disposal of matches or cigarettes, and the use of tools or equipment which may cause sparks or ignition sources. Avoid open burning and recreational fires.

Be prepared for wildfire and follow the Ready, Set, Go! program if a fire occurs in your area. Report fires by dialing 911.
