The students, who range from freshmen to seniors, represent one of the largest qualifying groups in the high schools’ recent history to attend the national event.
The students will be in San Antonio, Texas, June 27 to July 3.

According to data released by the Oregon Department of Education today, KCSD’s overall four year graduation rate for the 2016-17 school year is 77.87 percent, which is a little more than a point higher than the overall Oregon rate of 76.65 percent.
“I’m happy to see we are continuing to make progress,” Superintendent Greg Thede said, “but we can continue to improve and do better.”
