This year, the Winter Give-Away/Point-in-Time count events enabled KLCAS to both serve, and gather data on 286 homeless individuals, as well as 247 individuals currently in-need throughout Klamath and Lake Counties.

During the event, Owners, Blake, Bill and Mary Underriner gave away a 2005 Subaru Impreza to Jacob King, a veteran and single dad of four young daughters. Several local organizations nominated many deserving people. However, King’s story and his four girls stood out among the rest.
