CHILOQUIN, Ore. - An active shooter armed with a rifle shot up parts of Chiloquin on Thursday. The shooter reportedly pointed his rifle at other citizens, shot vehicles, windows, and buildings. At one point, the suspect was observed inside the Chiloquin Community Center before swimming across the Williamson River.

Park Ave in Chiloquin. Law enforcement officers surrounded the residence and initially took several individuals into custody. Deputies, knowing Eric Patrick Koon, age 19, was still inside the residence, and made numerous attempts over the course of several hours to give himself up.
