LIVE: Medo-Bel Building to be Demolished

This afternoon we are talking with Commissioner Derrick DeGroot and discussing the Medo-Bel Building at the corner of Esplanade and Spring.

The building is owned by the county, collected through a tax foreclosure. The County is accepting proposals to remove the dilapidated structure making the lot more desirable.

Dollar General, a smaller general store has expressed interest in the location.

Commissioner DeGroot also provides an update on the downtown grocery store.
