KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - On August 12, 2020, just after midnight, Klamath County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call to assist Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office with a pursuit of a stolen Toyota 4Runner that was traveling north into Oregon. KCSO Deputies picked up pursuit of the stolen vehicle near the Midland Rest Area and reported speeds in excess of 100 MPH.

Delbert Gavin was arrested by the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office for the crimes of Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle (backhoe), Burglary 2nd Degree, and Aggravated Theft 1st Degree (additional tools). It is alleged he took these items on or about Mother’s Day (May 13th). The backhoe has been recovered.
