DUII Fatality on Lakeshore Drive

At approximately 1:23 AM, during the early hours of Friday April 12, 49-year-old Mike Fowler of Klamath Falls crashed his vehicle on Lakeshore Drive. Klamath County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched and upon arrival found that Fowler’s vehicle had rolled over and sustained extensive damage. His passenger, 58-year-old Dale Faust of Klamath Falls, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A two-vehicle head-on crash occurred Friday, March 1, 2019, just after 6:00 PM along Highway 140 west of Klamath Falls, Ore.

Minutes before the crash, a driving complaint had been called into 9-1-1 on a Chevrolet Silverado reportedly driving in the oncoming lane. Shortly thereafter, a second call came into 9-1-1 reporting the crash near Varney Creek Road in Rocky Point.

On Thursday, August 9, 2018 at approximately 10:06 pm, officers from the Klamath Falls Police Department responded to a traffic collision at South 6th Street near E. Main.  Officers arrived on scene and determined Brenda Ann Tobin was driving a Ford F350 east on South 6th Street and turned left, just east of E. Two Vehicle Fatal Crash in Marion County - 5 Dead

Marion County, Ore. - Sad news out of Marion County this morning. Favian R. Garcia operating a Land Rover while under the influence of intoxicants kills 5 in a head on crash. Garcia collided with a Buick Century driven by Lisette Medrano-Perez. Perez and her four children (ages 2-8) were killed in the impact.

Garcia is lodged at the Marion County Jail under 5 counts of manslaughter, felony DUII, reckless driving, driving while suspended and unrelated warrants.

Our thoughts are with the Medrano-Perez family as they grieve over this senseless and unnecessary loss of life.
